Key Features:

- Simple workflow: add fog volumes as you would create and move/scale gameobjects.
- Fog voids: you can create several fog voids easily in the scene making 3D holes into the fog (1 fog void supported in the built-in version).
- Native directional light support with shadows including cascade option.
- Fast point lights option: this feature can cast light on the fog from up to 16 (or even more) point lights with additional global controls for intensity and range and much better performance.
- Fog of war with interactive editor which allows you to paint, clear or color the fog areas with a brush or using scripting in Editor and runtime.
- Terrain fit option: ability to adapt to any kind of surface below the fog.
- Depth blur/light scattering option for maximum realism.
- Adaptatibe Probe Volumes support in Unity 2023.1+ (URP only) injects global illumination into the volumetric fog.
- Native URP spot & point lights support with shadows, limited to 8 lights in Forward or 64+ in Forward+ (for local volumetric effects only, check also our Volumetric Lights 2 asset).
