HackSkills is a modular raycast-based hacking system inspired by Watch_Dogs, designed for Unreal Engine. It allows players to interact with cameras, hackable devices, and controllable characters through a flexible Blueprint system.
Key Features:
- Hackable Cameras:
- Look at a camera and press F to take control.
- Automatically enable or toggle hacking skill (Z).
- Follow mode (X) and return position toggle (C).
- Adjustable FOV and angle limits.
- Expandable camera control/exit events in Level Blueprint.

- Editable light and effect settings (initial & activated).
- Adjustable detection/trigger distance and sound effects.
- Extendable activation event example provided.
- Hackable Characters:
- Press Z to toggle hacking mode.
- Press Q to return control to the main character.
- Fully compatible with camera switching and device interaction.
- Demo Level Included:
- Contains example setups for all hackable components.
- Uses only official Unreal Engine starter content (easy to replace meshes).
